After School Program
During the school year, the NEST-mobile travels into the community's low income areas with its After School Homework and Tutoring Program. The program delivers accessible homework help, target-tutoring, technology (Internet access, computers, printers), school supplies, nutritious snacks (which include fresh fruit daily) and organized outdoor sports activities when the weather permits.


Poverty can impede children’s ability to learning and contribute to social, emotional, and behavioral problems. Research is clear that poverty is the single greatest threat to children’s well-being.
