Gary was one of the first kids to join NEST at Westover Village Apartments, our first location.

He was referred by his mother when he was struggling with reading and keeping up with his school work.

NEST homework help volunteers worked with Gary each day on his reading packet from school as well as weekly spelling words and math.  He would show up smiling ready to work.

In the Spring, Gary proudly accepted Loveland Elementary School’s  “Terrific Tiger Recognition”.  Congratulations to Gary!

Our dedicated volunteers were able to help Gary using NEST’s targeted tutoring program which involves one-on-one tutoring based on their learning plan written with guidance from the classroom teacher & parent.
