Loveland Lifestyle Publisher
Emily Barlow is the publisher of Loveland Lifestyle magazine, a publication with a mission to bring the community together by sharing local stories that appeal to readers. From learning about people in the community and neighborhood heroes, to introducing new restaurants and entertainment venues around town, each issue is created for the residents of the community. The goal is for readers to ‘run into’ someone they know in nearly every issue. Loveland Lifestyle premiered in November 2018 and has been going strong ever since.
In the past three years, the magazine has been honored to cover so many remarkable people and businesses and share their stories with readers. Emily would like to thank the community for embracing the magazine. The response has been better than she could have ever imagined!
A Loveland native Emily and her family relocated back to Loveland in the fall of 2017 after living in Pittsburgh for a number of years. There she discovered a passion for writing and marketing as the Director of Sales for a local young professional publication called MANIAC magazine, before switching careers and becoming the Integrated Marketing Manager for a boutique advertising agency in Pittsburgh called Beyond Spots & Dots. Both positions paved the way for her to take on the role of publisher for Loveland Lifestyle. Her husband Jeremy’s encouragement was one of the main reasons Emily started Loveland Lifestyle, and she is so grateful for his constant support. The Barlows have two children, Evelyn and Wesley and a mischievous puppy named Charlie. There’s never a dull moment in their house!

Mom, Saw Pilates Instructor, Volunteer
I’m Tara Hamilton and am excited to dance for a fabulous cause. While I don’t have the best moves on the floor or much experience at all (my dancing has been compared to those windsocks seen in front of used car lots), I hope my smile and enthusiasm for NEST could make up for it. I’m always up for trying something new and different, so here we go!
My husband, Aaron, and I have two fun, creative boys and have lived in Loveland for almost 7 years. Our love for this town has grown as we’ve made friends we now consider family. I teach at SAW Pilates and volunteer in many positions, both in the district and community. I’m so very thankful to my family and friends who have always supported my crazy ideas and contributed to many great causes. Cheers to helping fund NEST!
Loveland Primary School 2nd Grade Teacher
Brooke Hobson is a Loveland girl through and through! A lifelong resident, proud LHS graduate, & a long-time second grade teacher, Brooke bleeds ORANGE for the Loveland Tigers! That is exactly WHY she would do something so totally out of her comfort zone (she is infinitely better in a dunking booth, than on a dance floor)!! Raising much needed funds for NEST & dancing the night away with an amazing partner, is without a doubt, a terrific way to spend an evening & also a true honor to be included in such fabulous company! Brooke would like to thank her awesome husband, Shawn, & their two tiny Tigers – Maggie & Finn, for patiently putting up with the new STAR in the house! Let’s hope she doesn’t actually break a leg! Cheers to NEST and to everyone who lovingly supports us all along the way!

Cofounder & Head Chef Rodi Italian
Bio coming sooAs the son of a successful restaurateur in Los Angeles, Chef Roberto Peloni grew up working in his father’s restaurants in every role in the dining room and the kitchen. His father came to California from Genoa, Italy in the 60’s and still runs their family restaurant, La Bruschetta, currently going into its 40th year of business. Chef Rob also had a successful career for several years as a touring guitar player, as well as writing/producing music for films, television, and record release. That, however, never got him off the hook from working in his father’s restaurants doing everything from washing dishes to working in the kitchen, waiting tables, ordering produce, managing staff and everything in between.
In 2015 Rob met Jo Beyersdorfer. One year later they were engaged and making plans to open their own restaurant. During trips back to Beyersdorfer’s hometown of Cincinnati, they fell in love with Loveland, found an old warehouse on the river, and packed up and moved across the country to open Rodi Italian. In the midst of the pandemic, Rodi Italian finally opened in February of 2021. Rob and Jo are grateful and thrilled to be a part of such a welcoming and caring community such as Loveland and are excited to do more as they continue through their first year of business!
Minister Shawn Smith
Lead Minister Loveland Christian Church
Shawn is an Ohio native, being born in Columbus. He spent his elementary years in Cincinnati before moving to the Southwest.
He grew up in New Mexico, but moved to Illinois for college where he graduated from Illinois State University (B.S.) and Lincoln Christian University (B.S. and MDiv.) He lived and ministered in Illinois for 23 years before returning back home to minister here in Loveland at Loveland Christian Church. He married the love of his life, Wendy, in 2005 and they have four children. He is a family man, but when he has a few hours to spare you will find him riding his bike on the Loveland Bike Trail, sipping a dark roast at Starbucks, Mile 42 or Lot 1, relaxing at the movies, scarfing down a cheese coney at Skyline or at Shooters cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Indianapolis Colts, or The Ohio State University.
Meredith Stutz is honored and thrilled to strap on her ballroom shoes and compete in NEST’s DWTS competition. Meredith is an award-winning reporter with WLWT. She proudly grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from Cincinnati Hills Chistian Academy. Go Eagles! Prior to working in Cincinnati, Meredith worked as an anchor and reporter in the Savannah/Hilton Head area as well as the Winston-Salem/Greensboro area before coming home to work with the fantastic team at Channel 5. Meredith loves to dance and grew up learning ballroom, jazz, ballet and tap at places like CHCA, CMM and Ballet Tech Ohio. She’s grateful to her DWTS dance partner, Josh Tilford, for being a fantastic, patient and fun teacher and encourager. Meredith also loves to sing, run and serve in her community. She dedicates this performance to her family who, for decades, graciously let her break out in song and dance… even in public places like grocery stores, amusement parks and airports. 🙂 Meredith thanks NEST for considering her for this great event. She hopes you will join her in financially blessing kids to better their self-esteem, personal health and education. Enjoy the show!
