Attorney, Strauss Troy and Legal Counsel, City of Loveland

Meet Joe Braun! Joe has been an attorney with the law firm of Strauss Troy for 30 years where he co-chairs the Litigation Department. He has also serves as legal counsel for four local communities, including the City of Loveland. In addition to his legal practice which keeps him busy, Joe has coached and serves on the board of several local civic and charitable organizations across the region. He is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where he and his friends have run the corn booth for the past 39 years at their annual church festival which was started by his father. Joe’s dedication to serving his community is matched only by his commitment to the people he loves.

Joe lives in Miami Township (which he also represents) and is the father of three children and enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Molly Pouder and her two children. When he is not engaged in family activities, Joe enjoys traveling, reading, making charcuterie boards, and decorating for Christmas which is his favorite time of year.

Whether he’s practicing law, or stepping onto the dance floor, Joe puts his whole heart into everything he does. He’s especially passionate about fundraising for meaningful causes and is excited to dance and help to raise funds to further the great work NEST does for our community.

Let’s cheer him on as he dances for a great cause!

Owner, Trainers Spot and SPENGA Loveland and West Chester

For the past 20 years, I’ve been passionate about helping people become the healthiest version of themselves. As the owner of Trainers Spot and SPENGA Loveland OH and West Chester, I have the privilege of encouraging our community every day to grow stronger—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

My greatest accomplishment, though, is my family. My husband, Nate, and I have been married for 15 years, and together we’re raising our two amazing children. They remind me daily that every child deserves the opportunity, encouragement, and support to reach their full potential.

That is exactly why I’m honored to participate in NEST’s Dancing with the Stars. NEST is changing lives by breaking down barriers for local children through nutrition, education, safety, and transformation, giving kids the opportunity to build brighter futures.

While dancing is definitely outside my comfort zone, I’m excited to step onto the dance floor knowing every dollar raised helps make a difference for children and families in our community. Thank you for supporting this incredible cause, cheering me on, and helping NEST continue its life-changing mission. Let’s dance for a purpose!

Director of Youth Ministries, Epiphany UMC

I love having real conversations with people, where we can learn from and about each other. I enjoy reading time with a cup of tea or a bowl of cereal (don’t judge).  I am the new director of youth ministries at Epiphany UMC as well as a tennis instructor.  Spending time outside is rarely a waste of time for me.  I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, sitting outdoors with a good book or just talking with people.  I am also a pianist, involved in local theatre, and rarely get a chance to dance since I usually provide the music for said dancing.  I love to learn so I am excited for this new opportunity.

J Ravancho has been dancing for close to 10 years now, and has been dancing Ballroom since the Fall of 2021, when he first started with Miami University’s competitive ballroom dance team. J wanted to pick up ballroom dancing as a new challenge in their life and had always wanted to learn how to Waltz and Cha Cha! What J enjoys the most about ballroom is the community he has been able to form through at various ballroom competitions and dances. J is currently training to compete in the Open American 9-Dance division soon! You can usually spot J at any of the various Salsa/Bachata, West Coast Swing, or Line Dancing events around Cincinnati when he isn’t in the ballroom!
